Demonstrations 2020/2021

Unfortunately although I have artists booked to give demonstrations for the coming season I will not be listing them
at this time. I will be keeping the bookings open with the artists and will either cancel them closer to the date or send out group emails advising members of the dates for each demonstration.
I, like others, look forward to the demonstrations but we are all aware of the problems with social distancing in large gatherings. Hopefully the artists I have to cancel will allow me to arrange another date for when things return to some sort of normality.

Tom Shepherd           15th November 2017    Acrylic

Tom is making his first visit to MTA. This quote from his website sums up his no nonsense approach to painting:

“I like to take the approach of capturing the light that falls across a scene or subject rather than focusing too heavily on the subject itself.
My paintings are a way for me to explore the wonder of the world around me, everything from the grand scale of nature's giant sea cliffs & valleys, to the intrigue of places and people far from home, or simply the shadows cast across a sunlit street right outside my front door.  All the time asking....what is the light doing?”

Tom has exhibited his work throughout the Cotswolds’ & Warwickshire as well as a select handful of galleries elsewhere in the UK. Highly recommended
